Active LoRa mesh networks in North America — radio settings and community links only. For what the Meshtastic preset names mean, see the preset reference at the bottom of the page.

MeshCore Networks

Default settings: unless the Settings column says otherwise, every MeshCore network below uses the USA/Canada (Recommended) preset — 910.525 MHz · 62.5 kHz · SF7 · CR 4/5. In the MeshCore app just choose "USA/Canada (Recommended)"; you only need custom settings for the networks flagged ⚠.

Meshtastic Networks

Regional presets below are community conventions, not Meshtastic project settings, and they change over time — verify with the local community before deploying (as of 2026-06-08; an active Medium Slow → Medium Fast migration was underway in the SF Bay Area). All use 250 kHz bandwidth, CR 4/5, and the default channel/key unless noted; the preset name implies the spreading factor (see the preset reference below).
